The lights of Hanukkah are shining. I am sending you wishes for happiness, joy and thanksgiving to all of my family and friends celebrating Hanukkah. The hope and love that is celebrated this time of year is infectious, and the food, of course, is delicious. Every bite has deep historical, spiritual meaning and if you have not been a participant of the Hanukkah seder, you are missing a wonderful feast.
The menorah, the candle holder and symbol for Hanukkah, is a reminder for all of us that there is light even in the darkest of times. As each candle is lit, one each day for eight nights, we can embrace the reminders of the strength that these traditions bring to our world.
