I SALUTE YOU ALL who toil! Happy Labor Day to each and everyone who has labored here in our GREAT United States of America to build a better life for everyone else. This weekend is for celebrating the worker! Most everyone I know has worked hard this past year. Each of you has labored hard to do your best each and every day. So thank you to each of you who are builders of the dream. Those who put in the sweat and hard hours to build businesses, feed people, lead others. YOU inspire me. Each of you who work hard, labor and toil for a better life for yourselves, your family and for others. For those of you who put yourself last to benefit the lives of others. For all of you who nurse and care for those who are unable to work hard any longer. You are my heroes, too. For all those in public service (firefighters, police officers, teachers) I salute you for going the extra mile. You are the future!
I also am reminded that doing even the smallest of labors with a loving heart, is a goal of mine. What more can I give that to do my BEST labor each day?
God Bless each and every one of you. On a lighter note: Labor Day is also a personal favorite of MINE. I labored long and hard on Labor Day Monday September 6, 1982, giving birth to my youngest daughter. It has brought a smile to my face each one of these subsequent Labor Days, celebrating what women like me DO to bring life to our world LABOR and DELIVER 🙂 and smile while we recall those labors. Take care and stay cool.
